One Last Look

After close to a month I’m happy to say that its time to say goodbye to the Atlas Powder Plant and move one to the next exploration. But before we do I thought I’d through together a map of the Atlas Plant, put together from various sources across the net. Hopefully the map will help give an idea of the size and scope of the complex, and provide some reasoning for such a long and drawn out exploration.
First a few notes. Transportation across the plant was provided by a series of access roads (in light gray) as well as a narrow gauge railroad (thin black lines). Also entering the plant is a spur of the Copper Range Railroad (thick black lines) which delivered supplies and removed the dynamite. The current road is the thick gray line running through the center of the complex. I’ve noted the buildings that I have covered in this series (plus a few extras), but have not noted all the buildings. There’s just too many to put on the map.
Though you can see the map above in small form, check out theBIG PICTURE to see the map in a larger (and easier to read) format. Enjoy.
